1. Scope

1.1

This Standard specifies performance requirements and related test procedures used to evaluate self-ballasted compact fluorescent (CF) lamps and ballasted adapters intended for general lighting use.

1.2

This Standard applies to E26 medium screwbase CF lamps and ballasted adapters intended for use on 120 V, 60 Hz power, including both dimmable and nondimmable types.

1.3

This Standard does not include requirements for fixtures used with CF lamps.
